In the latest episode of the Being, Human fireside chat in Singapore, Arcc Spaces and the Deloitte Center for the Edge collaborates to shed light on the human side of artificial intelligence and its impact on our collective future.
Meet Michelle Yan. One of our most convivial sales managers in the field with a dedication for all things related to motherhood.
Well, I became a mom at 29 and I have 2 daughters.
The fact that my girls are foodies motivated me to create recipes that are easy, kid-friendly, and healthy. I used to post them regularly on my Instagram account which was filled with “instaworthy” photos of my own baby-friendly food creations!
Mum life also spurred me to be more active in the motherhood community. I joined various baby-wearing communities and I also became an active member in one of the mothers’ support groups in Singapore! I work together with like-minded mummies to organize various non-profit events, managing them from the beginning till the end including finding sponsors and planning the programmes.
I am really glad to be in these groups where I could provide support, impart my knowledge, share my experiences with the mums in need and render support to my friends who are experiencing parenthood for the first time! It’s a great platform where we could all connect, learn and share our experiences together.
My kids are my everything. I always enjoy spending time with them and will do so as much as I can. I also enjoy running as it helps me to unwind, improve my overall well-being, and helps me to focus better. Whenever possible, I would blend the time I spent on running and with my daughter together.
“Do what you love and you’ll love what you create.”
I always believe the best creations and achievements out of oneself would be something out of love, authenticity, and passion. In return, when you look at what you have done, you will feel the purest form of joy and that’s priceless.
For me, It would be the moment when you successfully helped your prospects find their ideal space solution that meets their business needs.
I particularly enjoy the sales process of interacting with my prospects and agents to gain a deeper understanding of the office space requirements, identifying possible options I could propose within our properties, and office viewings.
The reward at the end of the day is that you can say you were a part of it, and that’s a great feeling!
